Full TimeHours – 8:00am – 4:30pm

Starting Pay – $20 - $24 per hour

Job Requirements:

-Valid PA Drivers License

-Valid PA Inspection License

-ASE Certified Course – At least 1 or be willing to complete for at least 1 -

-At least 5 years experience in Shop Environment

Must show proficient knowledge of the Automotive Industry in repairs and be able to communicate with customers in an effective manor to schedule work, describe repairs needed and associated costs. Must be proficient with the use of computers, and be able to learn/be taught to use Mitchell 1 Shop Manager, as well as Fleet payment required programs. Customer service skills are a must and the ability to greet/engage customers as they enter the building. May be required to close as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

- Schedule shop work, and oversee the production of all shop employees to be able to communicate with customer needs, as well as internally.

- It is the responsibility of the shop manager to track and manage parts assigned to jobs to ensure billing, as well as write invoices, and communicate with customers about the completion of their vehicles and collect payment.

- To learn trailer parts, components, and accessories to sell and help customers in finding the needed parts. Complete invoices and collect payment

- Communicate parts needs to make sure parts get placed on future orders, or ordered directly for jobs- Maintain the overall appearance of the shop as a clean workplace and enforce the standard upon all shop employees.

- Help assemble and park trailers that come in – as needed or when time allows- Help prep trailers for sales and go over prior to the sale (Torque wheels, check lights, help customer get hooked up to trailer.) – as needed

- Check in and put away parts orders that come in – as needed or when time allows.
