What will you be responsible for? Assisting in the preparation of design and construction drawings, specifications, and sketches for all project phases.Ensuring that documentation aligns with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engineers, designers, and consultants to develop project requirements throughout all project phases.Overseeing project execution from conception to completion.Reviewing statutes, regulations, codes, and collaborating with authorities for necessary consents, approvals, licenses, and permits.Assisting with the preparation and review of all required permit documentation.Advising on the selection and coordination of building systems, materials, and detailing.Conducting field reviews on construction sites at different stages to ensure quality, code compliance, and adherence to project documentation.Supporting the construction team in site meetings, RFIs, and evaluating construction shop drawing submittals.Conducting project occupancy deficiency reviews for Occupancy Permits.Facilitating the turnover of construction sites to operations.Reviewing closeout documentation, including as-built drawings and warranties.Evaluating each project and providing recommendations for process improvements.Providing technical leadership and guidance to the architecture team, ensuring the highest standards of excellence.Collaborating with various groups to evaluate and recommend improvements to design, permitting, and construction processes.Assisting in establishing project protocols and lines of communication.Providing required project documentation and communication.Collaborating with procurement and construction teams on the evaluation of alternative products, materials, and systems.Assisting with building and maintaining a comprehensive product and material database.Supporting the growth and development of company culture and professionally represent Northland Properties.
