Northland Investment is Hiring an Assistant Community Manager Near Quincy, MA

About the Community: Highlands at Faxon Woods is a 196-unit well-appointed community located in Quincy, MA. At this residential community, residents are privileged to many community amenities, including free shuttle services to and from Quincy Center, state-of-the-art fitness center, library, and clubhouse.

About the Role: Northland is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager with day-to-day operations at this beautiful, luxury community. The role will monitor and enforce compliance with all company policies and procedures, assist with the supervision of leasing and maintenance staff in the absence of the manager, and oversee rent collection and delinquency. In collaboration with the Community Manager, the Assistant Manager will also be responsible for profitability, cost control, and maintaining the operating budget.

Requirements: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  • At least two years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role is required. Hospitality or property management experience is strongly preferred.
  • The ability to multitask and manage time effectively while adhering to certain deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors.
  • Previous experience leading a team or others is preferred.
