Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Station Manager to oversee the operations of our retail station. The Station Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Duties:
- Manage daily operations of the retail station, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and train station staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize loss and maximize profitability
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of retail math principles to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Oversee cash register operations, including reconciling cash drawers and preparing daily deposits
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Perform administrative tasks such as record keeping, reporting, and maintaining documentation
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management role is required
- Strong knowledge of stock management principles and inventory control practices
- Proficient in using POS systems for sales transactions and inventory management
- Excellent understanding of retail math concepts for analyzing sales data
- Proven ability to supervise and train staff effectively
- Familiarity with market trends and customer preferences in the retail industry
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with diverse individuals and resolve conflicts
- Experience in cash handling procedures and cash register operations
- Multilingual skills are a plus
