Billing Team Member - Summary

NorthKey Community Care is seeking full-time Billing Team Members to provide billing support functions in a friendly, positive, and professional manner in an outpatient healthcare environment. This position will interact with third party payers to file billing claims for services rendered, as well as provide assistance to clients to ensure payment for services.

Billing Team Member - Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 2 years of prior medical billing experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Skills in analyzing billing issues to formulate logical and objective conclusions and/or recommendations for solutions.
• Proficient in the use of computer and business software (in particular Electronic Health Record systems and Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel).

Billing Team Member - Responsibilities

• Support NorthKey Community Care staff and clients regarding billing matters in a polite, courteous, and professional manner.
• Submit billing data to third party payers and work claims to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided.
• Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion.
• Assist, cooperate, and communicate with staff regarding fiscal matters pertaining to the billing department.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
