Northgate Tommy's Express is Hiring a Maintenance Manager Near Jonesboro, GA

Description

The maintenance manager is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment in a safe manner. Must be a self-starter, engaged, motivated, and committed to company systems, procedures, and processes to accomplish the business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain facility equipment.
  • Schedule and perform maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facility equipment.
  • Perform maintenance skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of site equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust equipment/machinery.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned.
  • Must be a competent team player that can build and uphold business relationships.

  • Must frequently lift and/or move items over 100 pounds.
  • Valid Driver’s License, no DUI or Major Violations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call after business hours.

Plumbing

  • Knowledge and experience with PEX, CPVC, PVC, Copper and Stainless-Steel pipe and fittings.
  • Working with pumps, spray equipment, pressure valves.
  • Air compressor piping, regulator valves and compressor servicing.
  • General plumbing maintenance and repair of toilets faucets and drains.

Electric

  • 110 ,220 and some 480 wiring and motors.
  • Use a multimeter and amp probe.
  • Trouble shoot wiring issues.
  • Low voltage control circuits and network wiring
  • Work with PVC Conduit and fittings.

General Building, Equipment, Site Maintenance

  • Painting, patching and general building repairs.
  • Minor concrete work
  • Irrigation maintenance and repairs
  • Welding and cutting of Stainless Steel.
  • Maintaining and replacing bearings, motors, pumps, and blowers

Safety Requirements

  • Ladder safety
  • Electrical Hazards & Lock-Out, Tag-Out

  • Personal Protective Equipment

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. All safety equipment is provided.

  • Full-Time: 40 Hours Per Week
