Northgate Resorts Jellystone Park is Hiring a Host Near Bostic, NC
- Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list as necessary
- Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions
- Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas
- Assigning guests to tables they prefer while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
- Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
- Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions
- Knowledge of the menu
- Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed
- Providing great customer service
- Assist with preparation of take-out orders
- Bust Tables
- Walk around and check on guest.
- Hand out food orders
- Sweep and Mop
- Point-of-sale system and cash-handling experience preferred
- Restaurant experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive, engaging personality, strong work ethic, and professional appearance
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work with minimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, occasionally in warm temperatures
- Able to balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
- Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etc.
