Summary

This is manual work in the general maintenance and repair of grounds, facilities, and equipment for Northfield Square Mall. The person employed in the position is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties ranging from laboring activities require physical extension to semi-skilled tasks. Duties involve the use of some hand and power tools and the operation of truck. All assignments involve responsibility for the safe use of tools and equipment and the safety of others in the area. Work is normally performed independently. Work is reviewed in the progress and upon completion for the conformance with instructions and work standards. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities the duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

· Perform ground maintenance and minor building repairs.

· Put up seasonal decoration

· Change light bulbs

· Shovel snow and de-ice parking lots, entryways, etc. for employee safety before, during and after inclement weather and before normal work start times as needed. Assist with storm clean-up including removal of branches, repairing ditches, ect.

· Change HVAC filters

· Concrete repair

· Drywall / painting

· Preventative Maintenance

· Operate a Scissor lift.

Skills and Specifications

· Knowledge of basic maintenance skills of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.

· Ability to perform the various maintenance and care of buildings and surrounding area.

· Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.

· Physical strengths and agility sufficient to perform the work.

· Skill in the use of such power tools as skill saw, sanders and electric drills.

· Must adhere to the personnel policies and drug and alcohol polices.

Educations and Qualifications

· Must obtain or have a valid Driver’s license

· High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
