Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with Northfield Hospital Clinics, you will provide direct professional nursing care to Urgent Care patients and families by utilizing nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills. This position works at our Lakeville Urgent Care Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs technical nursing functions, utilizes the nursing process to assess patient status, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Ensures a therapeutic and safe environment for patients and families within the guidelines and policies of the department and the philosophy of the organization.
• Uses standardized, medical staff approved protocols to provide telephone triage, advice and health education for patients.
• Maintains current and approved standard protocols to provide timely access to care and patient safety.
• This position provides age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Selection Criteria:

• Current RN license in Minnesota 
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtained within six months of hire, company paid)

Schedule:

• 16hrs/2wks
• Every other week:
  • Friday: 11:45 am-8pm
  • Saturday 8:45am-1:30pm 
  • Sunday: 8:45am-1:30pm
