Position Summary : Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is opening a behavioral health unit in the early Fall, 2024.We are looking for a full-time Activity Coordinators to join the team.

Primaryresponsibilities include providing direct and individualized care to patients including :

• Works with internal and external resources to plan, set up, and coordinate patient activities.
• Designs, evaluates, and recommends program and policy development.
• Develops and maintains relationships with community referral resources.
• Develops and coordinates staff development / education activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Associates degree preferred.

Required Skills : Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

License and Certifications : AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire, and Handle with Care required within 30 days of employment.
