Northeast Valley Health Corporation is Hiring a PHMI Population Health Analyst Near Sylmar, CA

The PHMI Population Health Analyst is responsible for Data Validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities during PHMI Innovaccer Release 1. This position will work collaboratively within the Quality Department and IT to verify the accuracy of data acquisition, analysis of Innovaccer searches and reports, and compare data to other systems including Nextgen, i2i Tracks (Population Management Software) Cozeva, (Health Plan data repository), California Immunization Registry (CAIR), and Los Angeles Network for Enhanced Services and other health information exchanges. The Innovaccer Report Analyst is also responsible to create, analyze and distribute a variety of reports to leadership, IT, and PHMI Care Teams as needed. This position may also work with the Enrollment Manager system to ensure quality metrics are available for all Managed Care Members.

Reports to:Program Manager I - Quality Improvement & Population Health Management Initiative

Qualifications:

1. Minimally Bachelor’s degree in Health Education or /related field. Master’s degree in Public Health is preferred. 

2. Must possess excellent organizational skills, project management skills, and experience with (Information Technology) IT and Quality Improvement Projects.

3. Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point programs.

4. Must be familiar with managed care and have had previous experience in the health care field.

5. Must have strong analytical skills and accounting experience desirable.

6. Must have pleasant, patient-oriented attitude and a professional appearance.

7. Must be willing and able to work a flexible and sometimes variable schedule. 

8. The Practice Management Information access level is 2.

9. Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment.

10. Sensitivity to the different cultures represented among members and staff.

11. Demonstrated ability to listen and communicate with others in a professional and caring manner including sensitivity with individuals from diverse cultures and lifestyles.

12. Demonstrated ability to set priorities for tasks to work effectively despite interruptions and under minimal supervision. Self-starter, reliable and dependable. 

13. Fluency in English (speak, read, and write).

14. Fluency in Spanish (speak, translate, read, and write).

15. Ability to solve problems and make routine recommendations.

16. Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality about health care and other patient/client information.

17. Current California driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage and a driving record acceptable to the NEVHC’s insurance carrier (if required to drive on the job).
