We are seeking a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant for our practice in Amherst, NY! This is a full-time position scheduled Monday – Friday.

No Nights, weekends, or holidays.

Essential Duties:

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Take vitals, history and enter it in the EMR.
• Prepare new patient charts neatly and accurately in the EMR
• Collect payment and record
• Perform general office duties such as document preparation, scanning and filing
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, in accordance with internal and legal regulations
• Deliver exemplary customer service to provide a positive patient experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of medical office experience preferred
• Experience answering phone lines and delegate
• Ability to multitask and answer telephones calls quickly and efficiently
• Experience with an EMR
