Description

Direct daily operation of community based teams providing services to transition aged youth and adults across Oklahoma and Logan Counties. Responsible for ensuring service provision meets client needs; meeting compliance and contractual obligations; working with team leads to hire, train and support staff; and, creating and maintaining strong working relationships with community partners. Will be responsible for clinical and licensure supervision as needed.

Establish a therapeutic environment utilizing evidence based practices that are recovery focused, trauma informed, culturally competent, client-centered, strengths based and co-occurring capable.

Ensure supervised programs are in compliance with contractual obligations (ODMHSAS, OHCA), funding requirements and agency guidelines. Ensure the quality of work produced by staff members meets organizational standards.

Direct the daily operations including but not limited to: supervision of team leaders; oversight of workloads and productivity; staff hiring and oversight of new employee training; chart reviews and quality improvement issues; facilitate staff meetings.

Analyze the effectiveness of program policies, procedures and practices. Revise, update or make recommendations as needed. Responsible for budget oversight and monthly review of Income and Expense statements.

Actively involved in monitoring and coordinating staff efforts to achieve ODMHSAS benchmarks. Review reports, increase consumer count and monitor consumer services.

Provide clinical supervision, licensure supervision and consultation for individuals and team. Provide relevant training within AFOS and across the agency. Promotes staff excellence and motivates staff to be an integral part of the agency.

Maintain positive working relationships with community partners (ODMHSAS, OHCA, OKDHS) and referral sources in the agency and the community. Develop new programs or expand existing programs to meet the needs of the consumer and the community. 

Must return phone calls and cell texts promptly and check and respond to email daily.

Participate in trainings/workshops related to crisis intervention, therapy, evidence based practices and in expanding knowledge base in recovery focused mental health services and substance abuse services. Employee will comply with all requirements to maintain professional licensure.

Perform other duties as required and/or assigned by Executive Staff.

Qualifications


Master's Degree in a Behavioral Social Science field (e.g. LPC, LCSW, LADC-MH) with professional licensure required. Require three to five years’ experience in the mental health field. Valid driver's license required. Must adhere to CDC guidance on COVID, vaccinations required.

Must possess and maintain current CPR, First Aid and CAPE certifications. If not current upon hire, must obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare. Local travel is required. Must possess and provide verification of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license during employment with NorthCare. Must maintain and provide verification of current automobile liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage. Must have and/or complete Core Level Co-Occurring Training via NetSmart University and Trauma Informed training within 90 days of employment with NorthCare. Must have TB test within 12 months prior to employment with NorthCare, or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.

Must display proficiency in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills. Excellent written and oral skills are essential, along with strong leadership organizational skills. Must be able to move about the facilities freely and sit for extended periods. Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally with English-speaking consumers.
