Position requires a high school diploma, (1) years of experience in office management, consumer scheduling, commercial insurance (Medicare/Medicaid/private insurance/etc.) and various daily clerical operations preferred. Position requires one (1) year of experience in the operation of a similar telephone system and intermediate data entry skills. Must display proficiency in the in the use of Microsoft Office software, or equivalent and intermediate general computer skills.
Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, move about facilities freely, must have upward and downward mobility for filing, and finger dexterity to operate office equipment. Must be able to sit for extended periods and have excellent speech and hearing to communicate face-to-face and by telephone. Must be able to multi-task and stay organized while working with frequent interruptions. Must maintain an organized work area and must follow through on assigned tasks. Must possess and use daily professional communication skills, verbally and in writing.
Must be able to comprehend and interpret verbal and written instructions. Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally with English-speaking patients. Employee must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to move about facilities freely. Casual professional dress is required with adherence to dress code requirements.
Must complete all NorthCare required training within 30 days of employment with NorthCare. Must have TB test within 12 months prior to employment with NorthCare or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.Must be COVID 19 vaccinated and follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID vaccination.
