North West Eye Care Professionals is Hiring a Front Desk Medical Receptionist Near Beaverton, OR

Are you someone who loves to work with people in a fast paced environment? Our busy Optometric practice is looking for someone who is looking for a challenge of a fast paced environment while providing exceptional customer service. The current schedule is: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.

The employee also must perform the following responsibilities:

-Greet with a smile at all times on the phone and in-person

-Assist patients with exceptional customer service

-Obtain, verify and/or interpret insurance benefits

-Collect and explain fees to patients while showing value

-Understands CPT and ICD 9/10 coding

-Answer and maintain multi-line phones

-Facilitate patients through the examination process

-Communicate efficiently with patients while building a rapport

-Multi-task and prioritize with the patient in mind

-Billing of insurance companies including Eyemed and VSP

-Understanding of medical vs. routine vision benefits

-Follow meaningful use protocol while still providing great customer service

-Knowledge of OSHA & HIPAA compliance
