What you'll do:

North Star Fertility Partners is searching for a talented Manager, Digital Marketing Operations and Analysis who has an absolute love for optimizing lead funnels and paid media campaigns for Google Search, Meta, LinkedIn and trade digital platforms. You have no problem tearing apart a problem and living inside data to find the answer to any question. Because you’ve mastered the Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ad platform , you have advanced knowledge to operationalize campaigns with proper tracking to drive campaign attribution and forecast monthly media spend and leads. This is akin to a B2B operations role that is focused on deploying and tracking lead generation analytics for funnel conversion. We have an external media buying agency who manages our media buying strategy and execution tactics.

You are also c omfortable working within CRM systems like Salesforce to validate lead data pulled from Google against truth data in our CRM system. You enjoy monitoring metrics, performance, and operational execution daily to ensure we are executing with excellence.

You enjoy collaborating and connecting with functional teams who are handling Lead intake processing to align on quality of leads, ability to handle incoming volume effectively, and align on resourcing for monthly lead forecasts. You will play a critical role in optimizing our acquisition funnel across multiple online properties and will collaborate with various intake functions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our acquisition processes, ultimately driving higher conversions. A/B testing the acquisition funnel online and offline will continuously be optimized.

The ideal candidate should have a deep background in paid digital media and be inherently fluent in lead generation processes. You must be highly “technical” to ensure UTMs and tagging in our forms and ads is being accurately tracked in Google platforms and internal CRM systems.

What you'll do:

  • Operational campaign tracking: Set-up UTMs and Google tag tracking in digital ads, landing pages, websites and application forms to ensure visibility and accuracy of paid media ROI.
  • Expert maintenance and usage of Google platforms: Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads
  • Agency Partnership: Build a positive working relationship with our media buying agency to ensure seamless and effective execution.
  • Acquisition Funnel Optimization: Help optimize the acquisition funnel across various online properties. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the lead conversion rate. Translate data in Google Analytics/AdWords and Salesforce into coherent, digestible Excel reports for lead conversion funnels.
  • A/B Testing: Execute A/B tests for acquisition funnel landing pages and ads. Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate performance and iterate on experiments to maximize conversion rates.
  • Lead Scoring and Progression: Develop a comprehensive understanding of lead scoring methodologies and implement effective lead progression strategies. Facilitate the progression of leads from the prospect stage to marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), sales-qualified leads (SQLs), and ultimately opportunities.
  • Operational Infrastructure: Constantly monitor UTM strings, embedded form tracking, CRM data capture, and reporting accuracy to triage any inconsistencies in date flow.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Lead charter in partnership with Product to select and implement a business intelligence tool and analytics platform to gather and analyze data related to performance. Set-up and generate regular reports, dashboards, and insights to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teams responsible for lead intake, marketing, product, and finance to align acquisition strategies and optimize the end-to-end lead journey.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in acquisition funnel optimization and media buying. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and UX to streamline operations and drive efficiency.
  • Team Influence: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship across the organization to maximize professional growth and team performance.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics or Marketing Operations.
  • Expert in Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an analytical function with hands-on reliance in marketing operations to support the business.
  • Experience optimizing a media spend budget of between $5M-$10M annually, across a portfolio of brands.
  • Strong data analysis skills and fluency in Excel.
  • Tenured in lead generation processes and funnel optimization.
  • Experience with selecting, standing up, and creating data reporting tools; must have hands on experience of data visualization and BI tools such as, PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel – Macros, vLookup, pivot tables, etc. generating visualizations that summarize hundreds of lines of data.
  • Passion for digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape.
  • Must be a problem solver with a keen analytical mind.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
  • Highly polished, accurate and on point – autonomous and self-directed.
