As the Controller at North Star, you will report to the CFO and play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting operations. You will be responsible for producing financial reports, maintaining robust accounting records, and implementing controls and budgets to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and timely periodic financial reports.
  • Accounting Records: Maintain a comprehensive system of accounting records.
  • Financial Controls: Implement and oversee a set of controls to enhance financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets to support organizational goals.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's financial health.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all reported financial results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
