Leadership:

• Oversees the operational and strategic initiatives of the Business Systems Financial and Administrative Departments
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT financial and administrative systems

Managerial/Supervisor:

• Plan, direct, and manage the daily activities of the Business Systems Supervisor and Operations Application Coordinator
• Interviews, hires, provides corrective actions (when necessary)
• Coaches and conducts performance evaluations of the employees within scope of responsibility

Customer Service/Customer Relations:

• Advises and assists all Departments and Facilities within the Organization as well as Management Information Services (MIS) staff regarding the automation, interfacing, integration, reporting, and analytical needs
• Assists Leadership/Management in the planning and negotiating of time frames and priorities for installation projects
• Attends meetings as requested/required by various departments, management, and/or Leadership
• Ensures that customers are dealt with in a professional manner

Implementation:

• Leads the selection and implementation of new Business System solutions
• Identifies and resolves problems/issues
• Installs upgrades as necessary

Project Management:

• Oversees all aspects of the Business Systems applications
• Maintains, interprets, and communicates accurate and current information relating to project resources/timelines
• Works directly with MIS staff and vendors to ensure successful design, development, implantation, and rollout of projects

Reporting/Recordkeeping:

• Evaluates and identifies trends, tools, and methodologies to assess their value within North Mississippi Health Services
• Prepare various reports as needed/required

Budget:

• Prepares, implements, and manages Business Systems Operations related budgets

Education:

• Provides training for new personnel

Regulation:

• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues]

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or related experience; required
• Minimum of 10 years of management experience in a Software Development or Business Analytics environment; required
• Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required
• Proficient in selection and implementation of administrative and financial software solutions in the “low or no downtime” environment of Healthcare IT; required
• Excellent interpersonal skills; required
