North Memorial Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking for a dynamic individual to lead our operating room areas. If you are seeking a fast-paced work environment in a growing same-day surgery center, this position may be for you.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited school of registered nursing. BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current licensure as a RN in the State of MN
• Experience: Two years of operating room experience in the last 3-5 years preferred.
• Recommended: Current member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses
• Special Skills: Strong interpersonal skills beneficial.
• Certifications: Current CPR/ACLS required.
• Working Conditions: Will be working in a clean, well-lighted area. May be required to deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity.
• Hazards and Risks: Direct patient contact with possible exposure to communicable diseases, x-ray, lasers (with potential for inadvertent burn or retinal damage.
• Mental Abilities: Must be able to comprehend policies, patient records, physician’s orders, procedures and guidelines. Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
