Requirements and Responsibilities For Assistant Grocery Store Manager Plans and directs the day-to-day operations of a grocery store. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Ensures all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability. Requires at least 1 year of previous experience as Assistant Grocery Store Manager. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. Plans and merchandises new ad products on a weekly basis. Reports to top General Manager
