POSITION: Education Navigator
LOCATION: NDSCS-Wahpeton and NDSCS-Fargo, North Dakota
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: 15-month grant-funded full-time position (potential for moving forward)

JOB SUMMARY: Support students’ learning, training, and credentialing for a manufacturing career. This position will work closely with students, staff, faculty, and industry professionals to cultivate successful pathways from the classroom to careers through mentorship, classroom support, and work with employers in the field to maximize student success and career advancement. The Education Navigator will help students understand contemporary manufacturing career opportunities in the ND/MN region. The Education Navigator will have a knowledge of the breadth of career opportunities within the manufacturing industry ranging from data collection and robotics to artificial intelligence and programming. This position will work with students to provide them with industry awareness, job outlook, best practices, and first-hand accounts to allow students to realize their potential to prosper in the manufacturing industry. The Education Navigator serves as an industry ambassador dedicated to increasing industry awareness. This is a grant-funded position through September 2025.

SALARY: $56,000 - $62,000, commensurate with education and experience
