POSITION: Resident Director

LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, North Dakota

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, 12-month, live-in, benefited position

WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Anyone eligible to work in the United States

JOB SUMMARY: The Resident Director is a live-in position responsible for the operation of multiple residential halls, housing between 400-550 students. The Resident Director will supervise ~15 Resident Assistants/Apartment Managers. This position requires the Resident Director to live in their on-campus apartment year-round.

This position is charged with shaping the environment and the experiences of residential students by providing support and programs focused on the Residential Life Curriculum. This position reports to the Director for Student and Residential Life.

SALARY: $37,500 - $40,000, commensurate with education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or graduate coursework in student affairs, education, or related field.
  • Experience in residential life, counseling, teaching, or living/learning environments.
  • Experience supervising and training student staff.
  • Experience with student conduct.
