Supervisor Bacon Room:
The packaging Supervisor is responsible for helping to assist the room Manager in daily tasks. This position organizes the production lines according to the Managers instructions and daily production goals. All in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors and delivers against daily production goals and line standards (safety, productivity, quality, customer service and cost standards)
Ensures production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules
Completes one or more quality and safety report (s) at established frequencies and in an appropriate manner
Helps with the management of production line employees
Performs temperature monitoring of the products
Provides leadership and employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities effectively
Intervenes with employees regarding Good Manufacturing Practices
Provides employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities effectively
Informs maintenance and supervisors in case of machine breakage
Make weight gains, check condensation and metal detector
Performs washing of his equipment when changing
Enforces rules, regulations, and procedures
Models a positive, resilient, and results-oriented approach
When his team leader duties are fulfilled, the team leader performs production worker duties
Performs other tasks at the request of his immediate superiorREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or G.E.D
Detailed orientated
Prior food processing experience
Good Computer skills

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Able to work in a cold/hot environment
Wear clean smock, hair net, bump cap, sleeves, safety boots and gloves at all times.
Ability to work with cooked meat
Weight to be lifted weighing a maximum of 50 lbs
Weight to push from a maximum of about 180 lbs
Follow and promote safe work practices
