This position is located in Flagstaff, AZ

We provide Primary Care, Dental, Physical Therapy and Behavioral Health services to the under-served population across 12 communities in Northern Arizona. General Description:
Managing and resolving incoming and outgoing calls regarding patient accounts. Reviewing and correcting patient accounts for accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls regarding patient accounts and discuss payment options.
  • Process daily self pay and sliding fee scale tickets.
  • Work with outside vendor to resolve questions and patient disputes regarding outstanding balances.
  • Audits performed from spreadsheets to review/correct accounts for accuracy and possible refunds to patients.
  • May assist posting patient payments.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 12 to 18 months of medical billing experience (preferred).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally and effectively exchange and convey information.

Compensation:
Starting at: $18.56/hr
