North Coast Medical Supply LLC is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Carlsbad, CA

Description

Advanced Diabetes Supply, a division of North Coast Medical Supply is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for the identification, qualification, recruiting, and interviewing of candidates. The Talent Acquisition Specialist builds relationships with hiring managers and candidates through the delivery of exceptional customer service characterized by mutual respect, understanding and trust. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work within the scope of responsibilities as dictated below with guidance and support from our Human Resources leadership team.

Essential Functions

  • Performs full-life cycle recruitment activities across a variety of roles, including but not limited to sourcing, qualifying, pre-screening and interviewing applicants, in addition to processing background checks and finalizing employment offers.
  • Works closely with hiring managers on an ongoing basis, to ensure a full understanding of current business and department staffing needs.
  • Creates job postings for assigned positions; ensures job postings are based on the current job description, and include compensation, training, and scheduling requirements.
  • Ensures that all recruitment efforts are captured in the company’s recruiting platform and meet platform requirements.
  • Ensures that all interviews are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical requirements.
  • Identifies opportunities to build applicant pools. Uses passive and creative recruitment techniques as appropriate to find hidden prospects.
  • Networks and coordinates with staffing agencies to supplement sourcing efforts if/as needed. Ensures any contract agreements are reviewed and approved by leadership prior to execution.
  • Contributes to the development, implementation, and continuous quality improvement of the company’s recruiting policies and procedures; presents recommendations for and executes approved recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Demonstrates dedication to ensuring that internal & external customer expectations and requirements are met. Maintains awareness of customer needs in communications, actions, and service delivery.
  • Demonstrates a team-oriented work style of cooperation and collaboration. Communicates and works effectively with individuals across the company to accomplish goals and resolve problems. Builds and maintains constructive work relationships throughout the company.
  • Adapts quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.
  • Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback as to improve processes and policies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months’ experience with recruiting processes and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of employment law as related to recruiting and interviewing
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of HRIS or related systems
  • Intermediate level of MS Office proficiency
