The length of employment may include the Fall, Winter, and/or Spring Terms. In some positions, students may also work during Summer Term, Spring Break, and/or Interim.

• Replace toner and paper in lab printers on campus.
• Assist with moving computers, monitors, printers, and more.
• Troubleshoot computer applications, including: Microsoft Office 2013, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Windows 7, Windows 10, Groupwise, iPrint, and more.
• Assist students, faculty, and staff with network password changes.
• Report PC, printer and user problems to ITS staff.
• Assist with last minute classroom troubleshooting/repairs.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions
• Demonstrate superior customer service skills
• Attend scheduled training sessions on new network and lab hardware and software.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

ITS prefers that ITS assistants have completed at least one North Central Computer Science course using the PC, but this is not required. ITS assistants must have good verbal communication skills. ITS assistants should be able to explain him or herself clearly. Must be reliable. ITS assistant must report as scheduled or make arrangements for a substitute worker.
