The Department of Music in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College seeks an adjunct faculty to teach the non-major group piano course and applied piano lessons.
MUSI 196 Class Piano for Non Majors meets MW 4:00-5:00pm on our Naperville Campus both fall semester of 2024 and spring semester of 2025.
All candidates should have a minimum earned master's degree in or Piano Performance or Piano Pedagogy, ABD or completed doctorate degree preferred. Successful college teaching experience is also required. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship. Instruction will take place in-person at North Central's main campus.
Other teaching and collaborative opportunities may include: instrumental and vocal accompanying, choral accompanying, teaching at the North Central College Music Academy and collaborating with other vocal and instrumental faculty.
