POSITION: Third Shift Crisis Intervention Specialist
LOCATION: LaSalle/Ottawa, IL – Remote and On‐Site
HOURS: Sunday through Thursday 11p‐7:30a, rotation on call
CLASSIFCATION: 7

POSITION Overview:
 Completes assessments of clients in crisis within ED of local hospitals to determine appropriate
level of care
 Completes de‐escalation of clients with acute symptoms
 Screens and evaluates clients for higher level of care
 Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients deflected from ED
 Completes referrals for follow up from ED or to inpatient psych facilities
 Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule
 Position works from their home, but respond to calls at location of client, i.e. hospital, home
school.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Service
Field or LPN/RN
 Bachelor’s Degree in like field with 2 years’ work experience in a Behavioral Health setting
 High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in clinical role in a behavioral health setting
