Van Millwork is currently searching for a reliable, professional, and energetic individual to fill our Driver opportunity.
Job Summary
As a representative for Van Millwork you are responsible for delivering superior Customer Service in a professional manner both in appearance and mannerisms. Strong focus on health and safety for self and for others.
General Accountabilities
Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions, checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Collects delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
Checks all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Deliver orders and stack neatly as not to create damage to the material or any property of the customer at the jobsite
Takes picture of paperwork and the delivery with company phone
Maintains logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Secures cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
Inventories and inspects goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
Operates equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
Checks conditions of truck after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage.
Reads and interprets GPS to determine vehicle routes.
Loads and unloads trucks, or helps others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary
Removes debris from loaded trucks.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Desired
1-2 years of experience as a truck driver
Valid Drivers' License
Ability to obtain DOT Health Card
Valid Forklift training certificate desired
Able to carry 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
Comfortable driving 24’ box truck
