We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Manage the office calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate our doctor's schedules
- Assist with office management tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining supplies
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Handle inquiries and provide excellent customer support
- Coordinate projects and assist with project coordination tasks
- Operate computerized phone systems and other office equipment
Prior authorize insurances for patients who are scheduled.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical office operations is a plus
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines and manage high call volume
