Job Summary
  • Responsible for properly handling all incoming and outgoing non-technical calls that are directed through the Health Information Technology (HIT) Help Desk.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the various hospital codes and processes.
  • Alert and aware of the policies and procedures for handling all emergency and disaster calls taking immediate and appropriate action.
  • Contact physicians, emergency response groups and all other healers through proper means.
Qualifications

Experience

  • One (1) year customer service experience in a call center/hospital setting with basic computer skills
  • 30 wpm typing, preferred.

Education

  • High school education or equivalent GED

Compensation

  • $12.22-$19.95/hr depending on previous work experience
