Norman Noble, Inc. is Hiring a Calibration Technician Near Highland, OH

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform calibrations on equipment.
  • Assure calibrations conform with all ISO regulations and are NIST traceable.
  • Update and maintain electronic calibration system.
  • Maintain calibration schedule; advise area managers of upcoming calibrations due; collect gauges as necessary
  • Maintain gauge replenishment program to ensure all gauging needs are met.

Skills and experience:

  • 5 or more years’ experience with gage calibration and/or inspection.
  • Must have experience and ability to operate/use various types of measuring instruments and have basic understanding of machining.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and have a certificate for calibration and/or additional education/training preferred.
  • Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have ability to review, analyze and make decisions based on data collected.
  • Must possess solid troubleshooting, problem solving and basic shop math skills (including metrics).
  • Must have understanding of and experience with inspection procedures & processes.
  • Must have excellent time-management skills and must be highly organized.
  • Ability to work safely and follow detailed work instructions required.
  • Must be able to review, analyze and make decisions based on data collected.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed, including weekends if required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.88 - $25.14 per hour
