Responsibilities and duties:

• Perform data preparation work (e.g., source, scrub, mine, and integrate relevant data sources) needed for the delivery of standard and custom BI and data visualization solutions for operations and financial use
• Develop BI Dashboards, reports, and perform time-saving analysis for business leaders
• Evaluates data to identify problems, opportunities, and risks.
• Provide support to convert ideas and business needs into meaningful report/dashboard designs and data requirements

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, operations research, data science, computer science, or in a science, technology, engineering, and/or math (STEM) discipline, with strong working knowledge of statistics and their applications.
• 1-5 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale business intelligence (BI) and data visualization programs.
• Proven track record working with technical, support and functional teams.
• Experience in Contract or OEM manufacturing, environments with understanding of business and management principles, strategic planning, production methods and resource allocation.
• Ability to translate complex technical designs and terminologies into simplified business language
• Experience with enterprise dashboard and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Oracle Business Intelligence, or Power BI, etc.) with very large data sets
• Experience in wide range of analytics, Power BI, and big data technologies. EPICOR or other ERP system experience preferred
• Experience designing SQL queries and stored procedures
• Experience influencing non-technical aspects of technology implementation or change (change management)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities that require superior project management and decision-making capabilities
• Strong communication and persuasion skills (written and verbal); ability to create messaging materials that meet stakeholder preferences, including ability to present concepts verbally
• Position requires critical thinking, inductive reasoning, attention to detail and strong analytical skills, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Integrity in data collection, interpretation and dissemination, with the ability to maintain information as confidential
