The Shift Lead will work directly with the Owners of the restaurant to ensure all daily tasks are completed. They will assist both the FOH & BOH staff throughout their shift and will serve as the lead when an Owner is not present.

The shift lead must have high energy, a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, top notch customer service skills and care about food quality, food safety and teamwork.

Required Experience & Certifications:

• Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM)
• Minimum 2 years food service experience
• Minimum 1 year restaurant or retail supervisory experience
• Familiarity with TOAST POS a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Open and close restaurant following established processes
• Assist FOH staff to input orders, accept payments, organize/bag orders for customers, stock supplies, greet customers and maintain cleanliness of the store throughout the day
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and calmly
• Assist BOH staff with set up & closing the store performing a wide range of tasks as needed
• Monitor inventory and prepare shopping lists
• Receive incoming deliveries and check for accuracy
• Count drawers and follow proper daily cash handling procedures
• Follow food safety practices and ensure restaurant cleanliness
• Promote a fun and positive work environment
• Physically be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Work in both warm and cool environments

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
