This role will be located at our office in Black River Falls, WI.

Job Summary:

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients regarding their insurance policies. Your primary focus will be on handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will act as a main point of contact between the insurance company and its clients, building strong relationships and delivering personalized assistance. This role requires an organized and motivated individual who is a team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers within your assigned book of business. This includes addressing inquiries, concerns, and policy-related questions promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information on insurance products, coverage options, and policy features to customers.
  • Assist clients with policy modifications.
  • Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other policy-related transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and claims representatives to expedite claim processing and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Actively listen to customer feedback and take appropriate action to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation of interactions in the company’s CRM system.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional insurance products and services to existing clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and company requirements to provide up-to-date information and guidance to clients.

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience in customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for policy and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • General knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Relevant insurance licenses will be required within the first three months of hire.
