Nature of Position
An employee in this position is responsible for facilitating the use of technology for data analysis and tracking student performance, developing and presenting in-service sessions explaining, emphasizing, and encouraging technology integration appropriate to each content area, and planning and modeling lessons for classroom teachers that integrate technology into units of study.
Examples of Duties
The minimum performance expectations include, but are not limited to, the following functions/tasks:
Develops lesson plans and instructional material that meet the needs of the assigned group.
Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize the available time for instruction.
Evaluates the academic progress of the assigned students.
Communicates with all stakeholders to discuss student progress and provide feedback to the teacher of record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
In-depth knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching.
Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community.
Hazards/Unusual Demands
Work involves exposure to normal everyday hazards encountered in a school.
Work is performed in a classroom and involves no unusual demands.
