Norel Service Company Inc is looking for an Operations Office Assistant to add to our Team!
Candidate should be highly motivated, responsible, reliable, and able to commit to a 40 hour in person workweek each week. **Industry experience and knowledge is strongly preferred, but not required. **
Position hours will be 6:00am to 2:30pm each day on site at our Littleton office with an optional lunch break. Candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, above average computer skills, and have the ability to navigate Microsoft programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. Additionally, candidate should possess the ability to multi-task and remain professional in an often hectic environment.
This role will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Assist with permit pulling at all levels (testing, service, installation, fire pumps, blanket permits, etc) for fire alarm & sprinkler systems both in person and online as required
- Work closely with cities and towns to ensure that Norel remains in compliance with ever changing requirements
- Maintain Norel’s permit database and ensure all departments have current information
- Assist with equipment delivery or other miscellaneous Operations tasks as time permits
- Assist with warehouse needs as time permits
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. This is an entry level position with the potential to grow into a larger role for the right candidate. Office experience of at least (1) year is preferred.
Please note that this position requires a reliable personal vehicle for distance to/from the office. A company car will be provided for all work related duties including pulling permits in person and delivering equipment. Company vehicle will need to be picked up/dropped off at our office at the start and end of each business day. A clean driving record is a must.
This position requires that the candidate be prompt and punctual and able to make at least a (2) year commitment to the role. Norel is growing by leaps and bounds, so there is immense potential for growth within as well.
