NORD Gear Corporation is Hiring a Gearbox Assembler - 2nd Shift Near Waunakee, WI
- Assemble gearboxes per work order instructions.
- Check work orders for accuracy.
- Visually inspect parts for quality.
- Test units for audible noises.
- Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems.
- Maintain the 5S program and Kanban system.
- Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous assembly experience preferred.
- Skills and Key Attributes: Ability to read and write and basic math skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to stand on feet and move around for up to 8-12 hours per day.
