Norcal Cannabis Company is Hiring a Retail Associate - Full Time - Santa Ana Near Santa Ana, CA

Position Description

A Cannabis Retail Associate is responsible for providing our customers with exceptional service by meeting individual needs, exceeding expectations and demonstrating excellent knowledge of products. In this role, you will also be serving as a “OC3 Ambassador” by promoting our core values. Our Passion to bring people together is conveyed through creating a best in class cannabis retail experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of the company when greeting, welcoming, and introducing guests into the store
  • Guide first-time guests through the registration process and execute basic administrative tasks
  • Make a human connection with guests to understand their needs and suggest solutions that are the best fit for their lifestyle. 
  • Address all guests questions and concerns during every consultation, ensuring each guest feels comfortable with the product being purchased 
  • Meet/exceed personal sales and KPI goals 
  • Deliver our values to the customer through an experiential and seamless manner
  • Engage customers through exciting product experience, education and demonstrations
  • Stay up to date on all product knowledge, consumption methods, effects, and what differentiates between brands and products. 
  • Exercise high standards of professional maturity 
  • Treat peers, leaders, and partners with kindness and respect 
  • Ensure all training, both self-initiated and required by the company, are completed in a timely manner and applied in practice
  • Take ownership of personal growth and development by seeking constructive feedback from store leaders
  • Follow and execute all processes for operational compliance including cash/credit handling, backroom processes, customer confidentiality, and inventory integrity
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising on the sales floor and as well as the back of house 
  • Ensure all displays are functional, accompanied by proper signage, and immaculate 
  • Stay up to date on current promotions and inventory levels of current products and new releases. 
  • Actively participate in and stay engaged with community events, outreach programs, and employee activities to help build community trust and team cohesion

  • Optimizes work processes by knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. 
  • High level of organization, patience and flexibility 
  • Prior experience with customer service in retail, hospitality or cannabis industry is a plus 
  • Able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends 
  • Follows store/company code of conduct 
  • Minimum 21 years of age
