Live in Shared Living Provider (Caregiver) Needed

Hyannis, MA Nonotuck Resource Associates is a state-wide agency that has provided Shared Living since 1991 to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities;

as well as adults with acquired brain injuries and elders. Shared living is a 24-hour community-based residential service.

We support and assist people who wish to remain living in the community and neighborhoods of their choosing.

POSITION SUMMARY- LIVE-IN SHARED LIVING PROVIDER (CAREGIVER) NEEDED

Nonotuck is seeking a well-balanced, active and social male with existing ties to Cape Cod, to support a busy young man with mild intellectual disability in a state funded model of care known as shared living.

He has a nice apartment in the heart Hyannis, MA to share with his new caregiver. He loves listening to music and watching sports, likes to be busy and participate in local events and utilize amenities.

He loves socializing with peers in his day program, at work and in the community.

Caregivers responsibilities :

• helps the person with their daily activities
• support the persons health and wellness
• promote and model a safe and meaningful lifestyle
• encourage participation in the community
• generous tax-exempt stipend
• ongoing assistance from Nonotuck staff
• clinical and nursing supports
• extensive training and certifications
• 24-hour emergency on call support and consultation are provided
• valid drivers license
• own insured reliable vehicle
• suitability per comprehensive background screening
• caring, creative and patient personality
• background in human services welcomed but not necessary

Caregiver receives
