Facilities Custodian

Noble-X, Inc. is seeking a part-time facilities custodian.

Purpose

The primary duty of this position will be to perform assigned custodial tasks. This includes general cleaning (restrooms, offices, break room, others as assigned) and ability to perform basic tasks of vacuum, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings
• Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed
• Dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables
• Vacuum all carpeting
• Spot clean soiled areas when needed
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals
• Clean counters, mirrors and fixtures
• Sweep and damp mop floor with disinfectant
• Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors
• Refill all restroom dispensers as needed
• Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs
• Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances
• Clean sink and damp mop tile floors
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed with purchasing
• Ability to work individually and with a team
• Ability to move between buildings to maintain cleanliness of facilities.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
• Good organization skills
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
• Excellent time-management skills

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous custodial/cleaning experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 24 per week
