For more information about Nobel Biocare, visit www.nobelbiocare.com Job Description: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures for Nobel Procera dental products 5 axis milling machines and SLA 3D machines. Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions. Inspect work pieces throughout the production run and perform visual in-process QC. Report results to quality assurance, as needed. Install and adjust milling tools, perform regular calibration of the machines and change operation to different products according to defined Standard Operation Procedures. Perform daily, weekly & monthly maintenance of machines according to preventative maintenance plans and procedures to maintain equipment in optimal production condition. Act as troubleshooter on 1st level manufacturing and machine issues. Operate all secondary equipment as required within product line or manfucaturing cell (Parts washer, microscope, batch ovens, coordinate measuring machine - CMM- , rotary tools, micrometer, etc.) Work in conjunction with other manufacturing departments such as CAM, manufacturing engineers, Production Supervisors and Team Leads on solving problems in production as well as continuous improvement of workflow and procedures. Work as part of a team to improve manufacturing processes through Kaizen. Prepare necessary packaging as needed Qualify all products produced according to Quality and Product Specifications/Requirements Inspects and tests during in-process operations in accordance with established in-process inspection requirments. Performs end product final inspection and releases conforming product to the shipping department for distribution to customers. In combination with inspection activities, performs packaging and labeling operations. Performs visual & functional inspections and utilizes various inspection equipment such as hand measuring tools and Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Supports the Envista Business System (EBS) through the identification and analysis of quality issues and develops/implements countermeasures in cooperation with production. Perform inspection activities through the complete understanding of specific prodcut requirements with the ability to be objective and determination of product acceptance. Meet production objectives and on time delivery by completing daily inspection and/or packaging volumes. Documents inspection results in both manual documentation and SAP. Maintains safety policies and procedures, including 5S initiatives and Job Requirements: GED, High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Certificate courses on CNC-Programming and/or CAD/CAM preferred. Minimum two or more years of CNC machining experience on milling machines controlled by Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Roeders preferred. Experience in high precision production (die making), pharmaceutical production, medical device, aerospace or automotive industry preferred. Basic knowledge in programming code (Fanuc and/or Heidenhain) and CAD/CAM (Open Mind, Delcam) preferred. Capable of PC-standard software (MS-Office). Basic knowledge of SAP preferred. Good analytical and communication skills. Practitioner when action is required to solve problems with the machines. Well organized and structured personality with strict follow up routines. High level of interpersonal skills. Must be fluent in English Must be willing to work in shifts according to the plant’s actual model. Must be willing to work overtime depending on business demands.
