Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in a managerial capacity. In this position, you will be responsible for learning the POS position to learn exceptional customer service while taking orders. You will be responsible for learning the barista position to learn how to prepare delicious coffee and other beverages. You will be responsible for learning the day to day operations of running the cafe. These skill are needed to then cover shifts, do the scheduling, and make sure the small staff is working up to the standards we expect for the best customer experiences. Hours will vary depending on the week and what is needed. Minimum hours will most likely be 25 hours per week but may be 40 when needed. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and ensure accuracy in preparation
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Stock supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food handling and preparation standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of barista coffee skills is a must.
- Strong math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating order totals
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Square POS
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
