Job Description: As a Patient Escort, you will play a vital role in supporting our certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and nurses in providing top-notch care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with transporting residents to and from appointments, activities, and meals, as well as providing companionship and support along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently escort residents to various locations within the facility.
• Assist with transferring residents in and out of wheelchairs or beds as needed.
• Provide friendly and compassionate companionship during walks and outings.
• Communicate effectively with CNAs and nurses to ensure the comfort and well-being of residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in resident areas.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Possession of a CNA license or intent to become a CNA strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
