We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to lead and enhance our financial performance while directing accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Financial Operations: Manage accounting records, evaluate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and publish financial statements.
- Team Supervision: Oversee a talented team handling financial reporting, budgeting and accounting tasks.
- Financial Planning: Coordinate and direct financial planning and investment activities to support organizational goals.
- Policy and Process Development: Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and SOP's to ensure efficient financial management.
- Strategic Guidance: Provide direction to management on short- and long-term financial objectives, policies and actions.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze past, present, and expected operations to identify opportunities for improvement and development.
- Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as banking and insurance personnel to facilitate financial activities.
- Education: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry positions; CPA required.
- Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving abilities, proven project management skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office programs.
