Position Summary:
The Director of Programs is a central coordinating role, responsible for organizing NIRSense’s technical contributors in support of identified sponsored research projects that align with and support the needs of NIRSense’s customers. The Director advances our research and development efforts by organizing and supporting internal and external stakeholders for sponsored project award capture and management. Working in concert with NIRSense’s technical leadership and federal sponsors, the Director of Government Programs plays a leading role in coordinating and advancing the strategic vision for NIRSense’s rugged wearable systems. The Director is responsible for the non-technical management and successful programmatic execution of all government programs at NIRSense from proposal capture and development through pre- and post-award administration.
The Director maintains NIRSense’s relationships with sponsors and collaborators to understand programmatic requirements as early as possible. As appropriate, the Director also liaises with NIRSense’s clinical leadership to support and coordinate clinical trials. The Director develops and oversees processes to ensure compliance with sponsor and federal regulations while supporting a culture of effective award and program management.
Salary: Compensation package will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s experience. Anticipated hiring range: $125,000-$145,000.
