Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team. As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for managing the escrow process for real estate transactions. This includes coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure a smooth and timely closing. Responsibilities: - Prepare and review escrow documents, including contracts, deeds, and loan documents - Coordinate with all parties involved in the transaction, including buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys - Collect and disburse funds according to the terms of the escrow agreement - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations - Conduct title searches and resolve any issues that may arise - Communicate with clients to provide updates on the status of their escrow transactions - Maintain accurate records of all escrow transactions Requirements: - Previous experience working in a bank or escrow company - Knowledge of loan processing and mortgage servicing - Familiarity with credit analysis and basic math skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with contracts and legal documents - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in using computer software for escrow management Preferred Skills: - Experience as a Loan Officer or in a related field - Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations If you are a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.
