Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager

Job Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid: 3-days in office; 2-days remote)

NikSoft is currently conducting a search for a Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead our security team supporting the United States Postal Service. The successful candidate will lead an enterprise cybersecurity team supporting an unparalleled large-scale enterprise environment with over 800 Information Technology systems, processing billions of dollars in annual revenue and supporting a diverse user base spread across the entire US. Responsibilities:

  • This position will serve as the corporate lead for NikSoft's cybersecurity programs, overseeing solution delivery, and maturing the overall security practice.
  • The candidate will work with C-Suite and Executive management at USPS in an advisory role and a subject matter expert in the cyber domain.
  • Manage and lead the NikSoft cyber team currently supporting the USPS CISO program.
  • Champion innovation and change in cybersecurity capabilities and related risk management activities with stakeholders, executives, and customers.
  • Create and implement professional development strategies for USPS' cyber workforce to deliver technology, cyber-related services and implementation of new or enhanced tools and capabilities.
  • Build collateral for NikSoft's cyber qualifications and past performance. Lead proposal efforts in pursuit of existing and future cyber opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a relevant Cybersecurity field, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience managing large, complex government cybersecurity programs.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, managed services, and/or cloud services.
  • Management experience providing technical advice and organizing, planning, directing, and managing large teams.
  • Extensive experience in risk management, issue identification and resolution/problem-solving.
  • 15 years of IT-related experience managing large, complex implementation/enterprise security/system integration requirements with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service experience dealing with diverse customer set.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with ability to successfully navigate dynamics (e.g., politics, culture, etc.) of federal government-related work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with USPS, or other large-scale logistics organizations.

****Candidates must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance (US Citizenship or Green Card required). Additionally, candidates must not have traveled outside of the USA for a combined period not to exceed 6 months within the last 5 years.***
