Job Summary:

As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to guidelines and business practices established by the United States Federal Government, the Department of the Interior, and the National Park Service. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of analytical and evaluative duties aimed at supporting the execution of radio and wireless programs, projects, and technical and budgetary functions. Additionally, you will assist in policy development, documentation management, asset management, and program analysis to ensure compliance with federal regulations and business practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in analytical and evaluative duties to address the management, integration, and controls required in radio and wireless programs.
  • Review quantitative data, reports, and documents for accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in managing and controlling program-related documentation.
  • Aid staff members in developing policies and procedures as required.
  • Assist in the development and cataloging of radio systems drawings and diagrams.
  • Conduct special studies, analyses, and reports to ensure compliance with departmental and federal policies and regulations.
  • Analyze program resources such as personnel and financial resources to determine workload impact and recommend prioritization and additional resources as needed.
  • Conduct on-site surveys and inspections of radio personal property and facilities assets.
  • Assist in the development of Internal Control Review Programs and conduct internal control reviews and evaluations.
  • Brief staff on progress of audits and evaluations and identify areas requiring attention or additional resources.
  • Analyze and evaluate the implementation of audit recommendations and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Perform asset management roles for radio-related property and associated telecommunications facilities.
  • Assist in developing life-cycle replacement policies, plans, and strategies for radio-related assets.
  • Serve as the Program’s Asset Management Liaison to ensure proper management of program assets.
  • Lead the program staff in managing a radio help desk ticketing presence.
  • Manage and maintain content and administer user access of established SharePoint sites, portals, webpages, and/or content management systems.
  • Respond to oral and written requests for program-related information and prepare supporting documentation, including management studies, findings, conclusions, and predictions of future program and project needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in program analysis or management support services, preferably in a government or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical and evaluative skills with the ability to review quantitative data and reports.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations, policies, and procedures related to information technology management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and content management systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Certification in project management or asset management is a plus. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent Project Management Certification (e.g., Project , Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP)).
