Job Description

As an Associate Client Director – Gopuff, you are primarily responsible for growing the Activate collaboration program with manufacturers managing large, complex sales engagements. This will require knowledge of the Adult Beverage industry, customer datasets, supply chain analytics and enterprise platforms. This role will also focus on developing commercial strategies to expand NIQ’s ability to dynamically service both retailers and manufacturers needs across complex business needs.

The successful candidate will join a team of high performing and high energy associates who specialize in customer data, personalization and retail media sales. This fast-paced team is excited to have a new member join our group to build on the momentum we have established and deliver against lofty, but attainable growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leading sales cycles for the customer data programs with adult beverage manufacturers 
  • Building a scalable business model to expand into all FMCG categories and NIQ’s business services
  • Achieving sales and strategic objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ’s value proposition and use cases to consumer package goods decision makers specific to the product portfolio
  • Building meaningful relationships with client stakeholders and teams
  • Representing the voice of the customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams 
  • Working collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners 
  • Achieving sales quota consistent with NielsenIQ margin goals and delivery expectations
  • Generating sales leads and maintaining a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of retail clients consistent with our growth strategy
  • Accurately forecasting the sales pipeline, areas of growth, areas of risk and prioritize to close sales consistent with sales cycle norms
  • Own cross functional relationships and be a subject matter expert for your accounts in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 8 years experience in a relevant industry (Retail, CPG, consulting, sales)
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Relevant experience with research techniques & solutions in the related industries of FMCG or CPG, Retail, Consulting or Analytics
  • Experience working with Syndicated POS Data (Connect, Discover, Spectra, Case), Homescan Panel Data, and/or Numerator
  • Effective in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation
  • Mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications and platforms a plus
